Q: How have growth expectations changed over the past 6-8 months?
The outlook for growth is largely positive:
- 6 out of 10 expect higher growth
- 4 out of 10 have increased growth forecasts by 5+%
- Some leaders (16%) are forecasting 10%+ growth
- Only 1 in 4 have revised growth forecasts down.
Q: Have levels of ambition shifted over the past 6-8 months?
- 3 out of 4 leaders (73%) say their organization is more ambitious today than pre slowdown
- One in 4 (27%) are much more ambitious
- One in 5 (22%) say ambition is the same
- One in 20 (4%) are less ambitious.
Q: Has the appetite for risk changed?
- The appetite for risk has increased for 3 out of 10
- It has stayed the same for 5 out of 10
- Just 16% say their organization’s appetite for risk has diminished.
Q: How well have organizations adapted?
- 80% believe their organizations have adapted well or very well to the changes over the past 8-10 months.
- Yet, most (60%) are no more than half-way through the process of adapting.
- 14% say they are a quarter way in adapting, while 40% are half way or above.
