The lesson of ā€˜the longest mile’ is never take project success for granted.Ā  Be ready for set-backs and disappointments especially in the final phase of a project. Most important of all, make sure you don’t arrive at the finish line only to find that it has moved and that stakeholders are waiting impatiently somewhere else.
