Has sufficient project rigor been applied to ensure the project is set-up for success?
The project stage is where initiatives gain approval, access resources and otherwise set themselves up for success.
This is achieved through the application of project rigor, including project scope, workplan, timeline, budget and so on.
The Project Stage is amber in color. This signals ‘prepare to go’ for projects and initiatives that have passed the strategy stage. But it also signals ‘prepare to stop’ for those projects that fail to get sign-off on a project plan or the allocation of resources.
